We had so much fun with A Doll's House, Part 2 and The Christians that we've added another Hnath play to this season!
Maxine has weeks to live--and she thinks her daughter is paying her nurse to make sure she dies before new, higher death taxes kick in next month. She's wrong--but she offers the nurse a good chunk of change to keep her alive instead.
"A dark comedy with enough twists to keep us guessing what will happen next. Deftly directed by Ken Webster. Lana Dieterich is wonderful as Maxine--a fascinating artist, and a natural fit for this role. Web Jerome's seamless acting technique allows her to perfectly capture Tina's innate ability to sense the motives of others. Chase Brewer's comic timing is spot-on. Sarah Chong Harmer is wonderful as Maxine's unnamed daughter."

"Under Artistic Director Ken Webster's direction, Hyde Park Theatre has found a perfectly sized play for its space and its people and has matched it to a great cast. . . . the kinds of insightful and sensitive character portrayals that are a hallmark of Hnath's writing (The Christians; A Doll's House Part 2)."
